You can also remove it with the erase button, but it's very tricky, and not a procedure I can actually explain. If you delete.the sheet it's on, you are stuck with the choice you made. The undo button will work for just about any mistake. Meaning once you do this-delete the sheet ( I think it's the coastline sheet), you CANNOT undo it if you don't like it. The disadvantage is.one quick step and it's GONE. Removing it by deleting the sheet is one quick step and it's gone. There are some ways that you can manipulate your land mass and sometimes that outline can be manipulated with it, sometimes it can't. The advantage, of course is that it is completely removed. One way(perhaps the easiest) would be to simply delete.the sheet it's on. There are several ways to 'remove' that outline, each with its own advantages and disadvantages. But I believe the outline of landmasses may be a special case. So usually if you have something that disappears(or in your case, is partially covered by something else), the way to fix it would be to change the order in which the sheets are drawn, by moving a specific sheet up or down. The items on sheets near the top are drawn first, with each sheet being drawn on top of the one before it. Usually it depends on the order in which the sheets are drawn. I don't know about how to make the outline move behind your trees. If anyone can share how to deal with either of my issues, it's appreciated hugely. I tried checking the 'Hide Outline when Filled' box for the landmass's settings, but the border seems to be a separate entity. So I was wondering how it would be possible to simply remove the border or paint it invisible so as not to show up. When I do, however, it is partially covered by the border. If there's a solution to this, great!Īnother idea I had was to simply remove the border and have a glow effect from the landmass to create a shallow effect emanating from the landmass into the ocean. I've tried using the 'Bring to Front/Back' tools to either bring the trees forward or the border behind, but that doesn't seem to work.

If I place a tree symbol so that the tree partially extends beyond the border of the land mass to over top the water (just to add a sort of pop-up effect), the border will appear on top of the tree. For some reason, say I have a landmass with a border separating the land texture from the water. I've had Campaign Cartographer 3+ for some time and have never run into this problem before.
