With the discounts offered on both, Ashampoo Photo Commander 12 comes out a lot cheaper than Zoner 17. Most EPS files also show up in preview as well as thumbnail (on Zoner 16 EPS files will show up in thumbnails but not always in the larger PREVIEW mode). Commander 12 also shows NEF (Nikon RAW) files.
I have hundreds of PNG files that needs sorted and find this a great help. This distinguishes it from PNG files with solid white background.
One big advantage Photo Commander 12 has over Zoner Photo Studio 16 (i don't have 17) is that the PNG transparent files show up with the 'transparent' grey/white chequered background.
